Community Mirror (Terabox)
The links in the table above are the recommended source — they go to the official GitHub release. For convenience, this site also keeps community-hosted mirror copies on Terabox. A mirror is not the upstream release channel: if you use one, verify the downloaded file against the SHA-256 checksums in the table above before running it, and prefer the GitHub files whenever they are reachable.

What Is New in v2.13.0
v2.13.0 (March 20, 2026) is the first Gerbv release with native Windows and macOS builds included. The Windows installer is packaged with NSIS, and there are two Windows variants: an NSIS installer cross-compiled upstream, and an MSYS2 UCRT64 zip built natively.
It follows v2.11.0 (February 28, 2026), which rewrote the build system on CMake, and v2.12.0 (March 8, 2026), which built DXF export in on all platforms and added an optimised SVG export. Together they mark the project’s revival after about two and a half quiet years since v2.10.0.
Platform Notes
There is no published minimum RAM, CPU or graphics specification for Gerbv — the notes below are only what the upstream project states and tests.
- Windows: 64-bit builds. Windows 10 is the tested target. Windows 7 is only supported up to Gerbv 2.8.0.
- macOS: The macOS zip is new in v2.13.0 — the first macOS build included in a release. It is a .zip archive, not a .dmg installer.
- Linux: Release packages are provided for Debian 13, Ubuntu 22.04 and Fedora 43. Gerbv is a GTK 2 based application using Cairo rendering.
- Building from source: Uses CMake (3.28 or newer) with GTK 2, glib and Cairo development libraries. See the upstream repository for full build instructions.
Download FAQ
Where do the main download buttons take me?
To the official GitHub release for Gerbv v2.13.0 (github.com/gerbv/gerbv). Gerbv.com is an independent community resource — it does not host or recompile the release files itself. The clearly labelled Terabox links further up this page are a community-hosted mirror, offered as a fallback only.
How do I verify my download?
Compare the SHA-256 checksum of your file with the value in the table above. On Windows use Get-FileHash in PowerShell; on macOS and Linux use shasum -a 256 or sha256sum. If the values do not match exactly, delete the file and download again from the GitHub links.
Does v2.13.0 run on Windows 7?
No. Upstream supports Windows 7 only up to Gerbv 2.8.0. The v2.13.0 Windows builds are 64-bit and Windows 10 is the tested target.
Is there a macOS .dmg?
No. The macOS build first included in the v2.13.0 release is a .zip archive. There is no .dmg in the release.
Which Linux package should I choose?
Use the Debian 13 .deb on Debian 13, the Ubuntu 22.04 .deb on Ubuntu 22.04, and the Fedora 43 .rpm on Fedora 43. The main Linux button on this page goes to the Ubuntu 22.04 .deb; the full table lists every package.
